It is said that it takes 88 kinds of labor to raise rice.
"山中温泉「厨八十八」(Yamanaka Onsen Kuriya Yasohachi)" represents the character "米(Rice)", which is not only the stapple of Japanese food but also a cultural item. Rice has been growth in the countryside of the site of Yamanaka Onsen Kuriya Yasohachi since its fundation 1300 years ago.
I would like to cultivate a mind to cherishing cook a crop of rice bringing out nature from it.
Wood interior
Our cool wood furniture is made by Hida Takayama craftmen.
Fabrics are beige and ivory, creating a simple & modern space.
The inviting sofas in the lobby are spacious enough to mind you to relax
For women, colorful ”Yukata”
Women customers will be lent a color Yukata.
We store stylish quality yukatas.
