A 94.7 meter long bridge crossing the Daishoji River in the Yamanaka Onsen hot spring resort area in Kaga, Ishikawa.
The bridge is characterized by its elegant wine red color and unique, S-curve shape.
The bridge was designed to resemble a cat’s cradle (“ayatori” in Japanese) with the banks on either side serving as hands.
While exploring Kakusenkei from 山中温泉「厨八十八」(Yamanaka Onsen Kuriya Yasohachi), via the Korogi-bashi Bridge to Ayatori-hashi Bridge is about 30 minutes.
In particular, the timing of the fresh green of the season, from the Cat's Cradle chopsticks Kakusenkei view is spectacular.
