Skijam Katsuyama
It takes about 1 hour from traditional Japanese hotel "Kuriya Yasohachi" at Yamanaka Onsen to "Skijam Katsuyama" by car.
There are 12 various ski runs whose maximum sliding distance is 5,800m. Furthermore kid-friendly facility is annexed. It is the biggest ski resort in western Japan that can be enjoyed by family and advanced skiers.
Skier's equipment which include jackets, pants, goggles and gloves are available for rent. These are a lot design and varying sizes so even thought you go empty-handed, you can enjoy.

Skijam Katsuyama is famous for superb view surrounded by Hakusan mountains and rich and high quality snow.
The Slope should be 3 areas, "Variety site", "Fantasy site" and "Illusion site" so that everyone can enjoy safely depending on the level of ability.
And "Kids park" ,which is for children and beginner, can be enjoyed safely and comfortably with a divided slope into 3 areas, "ski", "snowboard" and "sled" using a belt type "moving walkway" to lift.
